Enlightened View

These pictures are but a small sampling of Holly's extensive body of work. They are for the most part representational of her animal portraiture. Holly was also a landscape artist who loved using Lake Pawtuckaway as a subject. She had done some human portraiture, and her later human portraits were done using newly-learned watercolor techniques with amazing results! To view larger images, simply click on the thumbnails.

"Doc" - Oil on Canvas

Doc was given to Ron Levesque of Equine Protection of North America (E.P.O.N.A.) by Holly in memoriam to the beautiful horse pictured in the portrait. Doc had to be put down at the end of the summer of 2003. He had lived a good life, and his last few years spent in retirement at E.P.O.N.A. were definitely his best.

Holly captured Doc's undeniable spirit in this portrait and so he lives on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and cared for him.

This amazing portrait is of Holly's oldest daughter Jocelyn who is a sophomore at Brandeis. Holly's use of watercolor, as you can see, is truly remarkable. Notice the detail of the background and foreground, and the exquisite delicacy of Jocelyn's features.

This portrait of a dog who had passed was painted with love and compassion and presented to its owner in November of 2006 amid smiles and tears.

Holly donated this painting (oil on canvas) of "Adam", a rescue of Equine Protection of North America - E.P.O.N.A. - for an E.P.O.N.A. fundraising event.

This painting was completed for a silent auction in support of E.P.O.N.A.

The following were produced for NH20 - a gallery show featuring some of New Hampshire's beautiful waters which ran from December 2006 to March 2007.

This portrait of Holly's faithful, constant companion, Charly, was completed early in 2007.
